Yoroiden Samurai Troopers, known internationally as Ronin Warriors, follows five young warriors who don mystical armor to defend the human world from the evil demon lord Arago. Rekka no Ryou, the series' hot-headed protagonist, wields the armor of Wildfire and leads the team in battle. The franchise originally launched in 1988 with Takara's Super Ballistic toy line, which featured removable armor that could be swapped between figures. The concept was later revived in 2009 with Bandai's Armor Plus line, targeting adult collectors with die-cast metal armor and more show-accurate designs.
