Banpresto's DXF Figure line features Jibanyan from Yo-kai Watch in his 2015 Autumn version. The figure stands approximately 160mm tall and is made from PVC. Jibanyan is one of the most recognizable characters from Yo-kai Watch, a franchise following Keita Amano as he discovers and befriends various Yo-kai using a special watch. Jibanyan is the ghost of a cat named Akamaru who was tragically killed by a truck after being abandoned by his owner. He now haunts a street crossing, attempting to defeat passing trucks to prove his worth, though he always loses. Despite his sad backstory, Jibanyan is cheerful and loves chocolate bars and singing. This autumn version depicts Jibanyan with an orange leaf on his head and holding a half-eaten fig, capturing the seasonal aesthetic. It was released on September 10, 2015, as a prize figure distributed through Japanese amusement machines.
