Max Factory brings Amaterasu and Issun from the beloved adventure game Okami to the Nendoroid series as #1365. The figure stands approximately 100mm tall and is made of ABS and PVC, with sculpting by Nendoron, Taizou, Masu, Yuasa Hiroshi, and Yoshimura Kenichirou. Okami follows the sun goddess Amaterasu, who takes the form of a white wolf to restore life and beauty to a world plunged into darkness by the demon Orochi. Accompanied by the tiny traveling companion Issun, a wandering artist, Amaterasu journeys across a stylized world inspired by Japanese sumi-e ink painting. Together they battle demons, restore nature using celestial brush techniques, and interact with a cast of characters drawn from Japanese mythology. The game is celebrated for its artistic direction and its themes of renewal and reverence for nature.
