Good Smile Arts Shanghai and Good Smile Company present Ch'en from Arknights in her Spring Festival Ver., a 1/7 scale figure celebrating the Lunar New Year. This release captures the popular operator in festive attire. Arknights is a tower defense mobile game set in a post-apocalyptic world where a mysterious substance called Originium has caused both technological advancement and a devastating disease known as Oripathy. Ch'en is a key character who serves as an officer in the Lungmen Guard Department. She is known for her strong sense of justice, her swordsmanship, and her complex relationship with her family. The Spring Festival version reimagines her in traditional Chinese-inspired clothing befitting the Lunar New Year celebration. This 1/7 scale figure stands approximately 250mm tall and is made from ABS and PVC. It was sculpted by Vane, zimu, and Nainiu. The Good Smile Company online store included a bonus acrylic keychain and featured a light-up lantern component, requiring a commercially available light bulb for the light-up effect. It shipped in January 2024.
