Prime 1 Studio presents the Superman Museum Masterline statue from Frank Miller's seminal Batman: The Dark Knight Returns comic miniseries, originally published by DC Comics in 1986. This deluxe version (MMDCDK3-02DX) is crafted at an impressive 1/3 scale and captures the Man of Steel as depicted in Miller's dystopian future narrative. In The Dark Knight Returns, Superman serves as a government operative, having reluctantly become a tool of a corrupt U.S. administration after most of his fellow heroes retired or disappeared. He is ultimately forced into a climactic confrontation with Batman, who has come out of retirement to reclaim Gotham. The statue includes the Kryptonite Arrow fired by Oliver Queen (Green Arrow) during this legendary battle, and the base is inspired by the Bat-Tank from the story. Superman's weathered facial expression reflects the years of compromise and hardship he has endured. The statue stands approximately 87.8cm tall and is made from polystone and other materials. The deluxe edition includes four interchangeable portraits (normal, clenched jaw, heat vision, and grin), three interchangeable left hands, and two interchangeable right hands, one of which holds the Kryptonite Arrow. The edition size is limited to 300 pieces.
