TOKYO TOYS introduces Pinoko from Osamu Tezuka's classic manga Black Jack as part of the Tezuka Osamu Figure Series (TZKA-003). This Gokin-Jutsu figure stands approximately 100mm tall and is constructed from ABS, PVC, and die-cast metal components in the Medical Equipment Set version. Pinoko is the loyal assistant and companion of Black Jack, the unlicensed genius surgeon who operates outside the medical establishment. Originally constructed by Black Jack from a teratoma cystoma, Pinoko was given a synthetic body and the appearance of a young girl despite being technically only a few years old. Her cheerful, devoted personality contrasts sharply with Black Jack's brooding and cynical nature, and she serves as his emotional anchor throughout their unconventional medical adventures. Created by Osamu Tezuka, the godfather of manga, Black Jack remains one of his most enduring works. The die-cast construction gives the figure a premium weight and feel, while the Medical Equipment Set version includes accessories befitting Pinoko's role in Black Jack's practice.
