Kotobukiya's ARTFX J line presents Midoriya Izuku from My Hero Academia in a Ver.2 1/8 scale figure. This updated version captures the series protagonist in a dynamic pose reflecting his growth as a hero-in-training at U.A. High School. Izuku Midoriya, also known by his hero name Deku, is the main protagonist of My Hero Academia. Born quirkless in a world where superpowers called Quirks are the norm, he inherited the legendary power One For All from his idol All Might. Throughout the series, Midoriya's journey from an ordinary boy to a powerful hero explores themes of perseverance, self-sacrifice, and what it truly means to be a hero. His Quirk allows him to stockpile power and pass it on, and he has progressively unlocked its full potential through multiple stages, including the dangerous full cowling technique and blackwhip abilities. This 1/8 scale figure stands approximately 290mm tall and is made from ABS and PVC. It was sculpted by ko_nen and Sekino Masayoshi, capturing Midoriya in his updated hero costume as seen in later seasons of the anime.
