Orange Rouge presents Dazai Osamu from Bungou Stray Dogs as part of their Pop Up Parade line. This non-scale painted figure stands approximately 180mm tall and is made from ABS and PVC. It was sculpted by Namamono (Ikurie) and planned and produced by Good Smile Company, with a release date in February 2021. Bungou Stray Dogs follows the Armed Detective Agency and their supernatural battles against the Port Mafia and other criminal organizations. Dazai Osamu, named after the real-life Japanese author, is a former Port Mafia executive who defected to the Armed Detective Agency. Known for his mysterious past and his ability "No Longer Human," which can nullify other abilities, Dazai is a brilliant strategist with a darkly comedic obsession with finding a peaceful way to die. His complex history with figures like Chuya Nakahara forms a core part of the series' emotional depth. The figure includes a stand and features partial hand-painted detailing. It retailed at ¥3,900 and was distributed internationally through Good Smile Company's partner shop network.
