Nakahara Chuuya is a Port Mafia executive in Bungou Stray Dogs, a series where characters are named after famous literary figures and wield supernatural abilities tied to their namesakes. Named after the real Japanese poet Nakahara Chuuya, the character's ability "For the Tainted Sorrow" allows him to manipulate gravity — making him one of the most devastatingly powerful fighters in the series. Chuuya is known for his fierce loyalty to the Port Mafia, his short temper, and his complicated partnership-rivalry with Osamu Dazai, his former Double Black partner. Despite his brash, combative exterior, Chuuya possesses a strong sense of honor and camaraderie.
