The Sorceress is a high-skill magic class in Dragon's Crown, Vanillaware's action RPG set in the kingdom of Hydeland. Her attacks are powered by Mana, which she must replenish through normal attacks or by charging while stationary. She is one of three female classes—alongside the Amazon and Elf—with a high luck statistic that improves loot quality. In her ending, she briefly entertains the nobility before returning to adventuring. The game's story follows adventurers exploring nine dungeon environments, confronting a political coup against heirs Vivian and Dean, and thwarting the Morneon religion's plot to summon an ancient dragon sealed in the Illusionary Lands. This Deep Blue version offers an alternate color scheme while faithfully preserving the exaggerated fantasy art style of George Kamitani, who was inspired by Frank Frazetta.
