Gabimaru, also known as Gabimaru the Hollow, is a notorious ninja from the Iwagakure village who was raised from childhood to be a ruthless assassin. After being captured and sentenced to death, he is given a chance at freedom by joining an expedition to a mysterious island called Kotaku, where the Shogunate seeks the legendary Elixir of Life. On the island, Gabimaru confronts not only terrifying supernatural creatures but also his own humanity, gradually rediscovering his capacity for love and redemption.
