Max Factory's 1/7 scale figure of Ai-chan from Getsuyoubi no Tawawa (Tawawa on Monday) was released in August 2019. The series originated as a popular web manga posted on Twitter by Kise Himura, later adapted into an anime. Ai-chan is a cheerful high school student whose Monday morning encounters with a salaryman form the heart of the story. The figure is based on the illustration used for the anime's Blu-ray jacket and faithfully captures Ai-chan's bouncy pose. It includes intricate detailing of her hair, the realistic effect of gravity on her figure as she appears mid-jump, and carefully rendered creases in her outfit. An interchangeable chest part allows display with her blouse buttons popping off. The figure stands approximately 260 mm tall and is made from ABS and PVC.
