MegaHouse presents Okita Sougo from Gintama in a 1/8 scale figure as part of the G.E.M. series, depicting him in an Agitation version. This figure captures the Shinsengumi's most dangerous swordsman in a tense, action-oriented pose that reflects his unpredictable nature. Okita Sougo is the First Division Captain of the Shinsengumi in Gintama, a series set in an alternate Edo-period Japan where aliens have invaded and modernized the country. Known for his deadpan sadism and signature sleeping mask, Sougo is a master swordsman who constantly schemes to take the position of Vice Commander from his rival Hijikata Toshiro. Despite his cruel pranks and threatening demeanor, Sougo is deeply loyal to Commander Kondo Isao and the Shinsengumi. His complex personality, blending genuine menace with comedic absurdity, makes him one of the most memorable characters in the series. The figure stands approximately 150mm tall and is made from ABS and PVC. It was sculpted by Moriyama Nana and Mokamaru, and was released in November 2014 as part of MegaHouse's G.E.M. figure line.
