Bandai Spirits introduces Sakata Gintoki from Gintama as part of the Adokenette figure series. This line features characters rendered in a five-head-tall proportion, giving them an innocent and charming appearance while maintaining the essence of each character's design. Gintama follows Sakata Gintoki, a lazy but skilled samurai running an odd-jobs business in an alternate Edo-period Japan that has been invaded by aliens known as Amanto. Alongside his companions Kagura and Shinpachi, Gintoki takes on various freelance jobs, often finding himself dragged into absurd and action-packed situations. The series balances comedic parody with serious story arcs, and Gintoki himself is a veteran of the Joui War, wielding a wooden sword with surprising lethality. Standing approximately 140mm tall, this figure is made from ABS and PVC. The Adokenette series was showcased at Anime Japan 2024 alongside prototypes of Kotaro Katsura and Shinsuke Takasugi, bringing Gintama's iconic trio into this charming new figure line.
