Hedorah, also known as the Smog Monster, is a kaiju born from Earth's pollution — an alien organism that feeds on toxic waste and grows increasingly powerful as it consumes contaminants. In the film, Hedorah poses a devastating threat to Godzilla, able to dissolve living beings with sulfuric acid and regenerate from its component sludge.
