Jagi is the third of the four adopted sons trained in the assassination art of Hokuto Shinken by Ryuken. Unlike his brothers Kenshiro, Raoh, and Toki, Jagi was deemed unworthy to inherit the style due to his cruelty, cowardice, and lack of discipline. Consumed by jealousy toward Kenshiro, who was chosen as the successor, Jagi turned to villainy—adopting a disfigured appearance and even impersonating Kenshiro to tarnish his reputation. His treachery ultimately led to one of the series' most memorable confrontations, where Kenshiro destroyed Jagi with a devastating Hokuto Shinken technique. Jagi's influence extends beyond his own arc, as he played a role in corrupting other characters and shaping the violent landscape of the post-nuclear world.
