Empty's Chara-Forme line presents Hakutaku from the supernatural comedy series Hoozuki no Reitetsu as figure number 09 in the collection. This compact figure brings the eccentric celestial being to life in a charming, collectible format. Hakutaku is a legendary sage from Chinese mythology who resides in the Celestial Realm in Hoozuki no Reitetsu. Known for his vast knowledge of medicinal herbs and supernatural lore, he serves as a foil and occasional drinking companion to the series' titular protagonist, Hoozuki, the chief deputy of Hell. The series blends dark humor with Japanese and Asian mythology, depicting the bureaucratic workings of the afterlife. Hakutaku's rivalry and bizarre friendship with the stoic, ruthless Hoozuki provides much of the series' comedic tension. The figure stands approximately 105mm tall and is made from ABS and PVC. It was sculpted by Monolith, Hachimaru, and Naritake Yuki, and was released on February 20, 2016. Its small size makes it perfect for display alongside other Chara-Forme entries.
