Good Smile Company presents Mankanshoku Mako from Kill la Kill as part of their POP UP PARADE line. This affordable and accessible figure line brings the energetic character to collectors at an attractive price point. Mako Mankanshoku is one of the most memorable characters from Kill la Kill, the action-packed anime by Studio TRIGGER. As the best friend and constant companion of protagonist Ryuko Matoi, Mako provides both comic relief and unexpected moments of clarity amidst the series' intense battles at Honnouji Academy. Her family lives in the slums near the academy, and her cheerful, carefree personality stands in stark contrast to the series' often dramatic and violent confrontations. Mako's signature energetic personality and quirky demeanor have made her a fan favorite. The figure stands approximately 170mm tall and is made from painted ABS and PVC. It is a non-scale articulated figure with a stand included. The piece was sculpted by Design COCO with paintwork by Hiroto Tanimoto. Released in August 2021, it retailed at ¥3,900 and was available through Good Smile Company's online shops and international partner stores.
