Alter's ALTAiR line presents a 1/8 scale figure of Tomioka Giyu from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Sculpted by Watanabe Takamasa, Ken, and Mede Rukin, this figure stands approximately 240mm tall and is made from ABS and PVC. Giyu Tomioka is the Water Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, one of the most powerful swordsmen dedicated to eradicating demons. He is the first Corps member to encounter Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado after their family's slaughter, sparing Nezuko and directing Tanjiro to train under Sakonji Urokodaki. Giyu's mastery of Water Breathing grants him superhuman strength and resilience to fight demons, who possess abilities like rapid regeneration and Blood Demon Arts. He participates in major battles against the Twelve Kizuki and the final confrontation with Muzan Kibutsuji in the Infinity Castle. Giyu is one of only two Hashira to survive the final war, after which the Demon Slayer Corps is disbanded.
