From the theatrical film Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale comes a Nendoroid of the series protagonist Kirito in his Ordinal Scale outfit, produced by Good Smile Company. This chibi-style articulated figure captures the beloved swordsman in his new movie appearance, complete with a variety of accessories to recreate iconic scenes. Ordinal Scale follows Kirito and his friends as they encounter a new AR device called the Augma, which allows users to engage in combat through augmented reality rather than full dive VR. As the story unfolds, a hidden threat tied to past SAO survivors emerges, forcing Kirito to confront enemies in the real world with real stakes. The Augma plays a central role throughout the film, and this figure includes it as an accessory alongside Kirito's signature sword and the large broadsword used in the climactic battle. The figure stands approximately 100mm tall and is made of painted ABS and PVC. It includes three face plates — a standard expression, a shouting combat face, and an awakened face for the film's finale. Sculpted by Shichibee and Hideaki Ooya with cooperation from Nendoron, the figure also comes with effect parts and a display stand. It was released in February 2018.
