Genei's Mag Premium Vignette Series number 01 features characters from The Ancient Magus' Bride (Mahoutsukai no Yome), including Elias Ainsworth, Hatori Chise, Mandrake, and Watamushi in a single diorama piece standing approximately 200mm tall. The Ancient Magus' Bride follows Chise Hatori, a teenage girl who, after falling into severe depression, sells herself into slavery and is purchased by Elias Ainsworth, a mysterious magus with a skull-like head. Chise is a Sleigh Beggy, a rare type of mage who generates immense magical power but at great cost to her own life. Despite her meek exterior and lack of self-preservation, Chise possesses a kind and courageous heart. Elias, her master and eventual fiancé, is a complex being of uncertain origin who takes her in as his apprentice. The series explores their unconventional relationship against a rich backdrop of Celtic and English folklore. The figure is made from ABS and PVC, capturing multiple characters from the series in a single vignette display piece.
