Gecco, in collaboration with Mamegyorai, presents Venom Snake from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain as a 1/6 scale figure in the Play Demo Ver. This collectible recreates the shirtless appearance of the legendary mercenary as seen during the Tokyo Game Show 2014 play demo. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is an open-world stealth action game that follows Venom Snake, also known as Big Boss, as he rebuilds his private military organization, Diamond Dogs, after the events of Ground Zeroes. The game explores themes of revenge, identity, and the cycle of conflict. This figure captures the aging soldier's battle-hardened physique, with his torso showing thin fat coverage and countless scars accumulated from years of missions. The bionic left arm is equipped with a Stun Arm and is interchangeable with the Hand of Jehuty or the red default arm. Standing at 320mm tall, this limited edition of 800 pieces is made from ABS and PVC. The sculpt was handled by Shinya Yamaoka, Masaki Akao, and Yoshiro Nishitani, with paintwork by Katsushige Akeyama. It was released in early 2019.
