Good Smile Company presents Nendoroid 797, featuring Miki Sayaka from the movie adaptation of Puella Magi Madoka Magica in a Maiko (apprentice geisha) version. This unique figure reimagines the magical girl in traditional Japanese attire. Sayaka Miki is one of the main characters of Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica, a series that subverts the magical girl genre with its dark themes. Sayaka is Madoka's best friend who contracts with Kyubey to become a magical girl in order to heal her hospitalized friend Kyosuke, whom she has feelings for. Her journey takes a tragic turn as the weight of her wish and the harsh reality of being a magical girl take their toll on her psyche. The Maiko version places Sayaka in a traditional Japanese apprentice geisha outfit, offering a cultural twist on the character. This non-scale Nendoroid stands approximately 100mm tall and is made of ABS and PVC. Sculpted by Nendoron and JUN (E.V.), it was released on December 25, 2017, with a price of ¥11,869. The figure includes a stand and features the characteristic chibi proportions of the Nendoroid line.
