Oshino Shinobu is a central character in the Monogatari Series, a supernatural mystery franchise that follows Koyomi Araragi as he encounters individuals afflicted by oddities and aberrations. Originally the legendary vampire Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade, Shinobu lost most of her power after Araragi saved her life, reducing her to the appearance of a young girl. Despite her childlike form, she retains centuries of knowledge and a complex, sometimes playful personality. Her bond with Araragi is one of the series' most significant relationships, evolving from mutual resentment to a deep and interdependent connection.
