A2 is a prototype model of the YoRHa android infantry squad from NieR:Automata, set in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity has been driven from Earth by mechanical invaders. Unlike the more composed 2B and the curious 9S, A2 is a battle-hardened rogue unit who operates independently, haunted by the betrayal that wiped out her squad. Her aggressive combat style and reluctance to form connections mask a deep sense of loss and a desire for revenge against the machines. The anime adaptation, Ver1.1a, expands on the game's narrative with new perspectives and scenes, giving A2 additional moments to shine. Her character arc explores themes of identity, purpose, and what it means to fight for something when all seems lost. The Pop Up Parade series offers affordable collectible figures with a standardized height of around 17-18cm. This figure is scheduled to ship in July 2025, with a limit of three per person.
