Flare and Square Enix collaborate to bring YoRHa Type A No. 2 (A2) from NieR: Automata to collectors as a fully painted PVC and ABS figure. Sculpted by Mitsumasa Yoshizawa of REFLECT, this impressive figure stands approximately 280mm tall and was released in October 2023. NieR: Automata is set in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity has fled to the moon, leaving androids from the YoRHa squad to battle mechanical aliens that have overrun Earth. A2 is a prototype android who deserted the YoRHa forces, choosing to fight alone rather than follow orders she disagreed with. Unlike the more composed 2B and inquisitive 9S, A2 is battle-hardened and volatile, carrying the weight of her fallen comrades. Her heat-radiating camisole reflects her older model design, and her combat style favors aggressive, close-quarters swordplay. The figure includes the Type-4O Sword and a dedicated stand, along with a long hair head type and body featuring the heat-radiating camisole.
