MegaHouse presents Akagami no Shanks as part of their G.E.M. Series Run!Run!Run! line from One Piece. Standing approximately 120mm tall and sculpted from ABS and PVC, this figure features the collaborative sculpting work of Pinpoint, Arai Kougyou, and Gaku. The Run!Run!Run! series is the first One Piece figure line under the G.E.M. Series label, inspired by the second anime ending theme that depicted child versions of the Straw Hat Pirates running together. The line has since expanded to include other characters from the One Piece universe in their younger forms. Shanks is the twelfth entry in this collection. As the captain of the Red Hair Pirates and one of the Four Emperors, Shanks is a pivotal figure in the One Piece narrative — it was his influence and the sacrifice of his arm that set a young Monkey D. Luffy on the path to becoming a pirate. Depicting Shanks in his childhood, this figure offers a rare glimpse at the early days of a man who would become one of the most powerful pirates in the world. The figure was first teased at the MegaHobby Expo and released as part of the ongoing Run!Run!Run! collection.
