Myethos presents Sleeping Beauty as part of their original FairyTale -Another- series, a 1/8 scale figure that reimagines the classic fairy tale heroine. Unlike typical anime or Disney-inspired collectibles, this line features completely original designs conceived by the sculptors themselves, bringing fresh artistic vision to beloved storybook characters. Based on an illustration by ASK, the figure depicts Sleeping Beauty during her hundred-year slumber, resting peacefully on a woven basket bed entwined with ivy and briar roses. The roses hold special significance, referencing the character's alternate name "Little Briar Rose." Adorable companion animals including a squirrel and two rabbits accompany her, creating an atmosphere of serenity and protection. The flowing silk dress shimmers in shades of red, with fabric-like folds that showcase exceptional sculpting craftsmanship. Standing approximately 260mm tall, this ABS and PVC figure was sculpted by III Yu Long Shaonu Menshen in collaboration with ASK and Nijah. The figure was released in summer 2022 for the Japanese market, offering collectors a uniquely interpreted take on one of literature's most enduring fairy tale heroines.
