Genesis presents Otohime, an original character figure in 1/7 scale. Standing approximately 260mm tall, this figure is crafted from ABS, PVC, and resin, and is sculpted by Fuzichoco and Phoenix Nizhuan. Otohime is inspired by the legendary princess from Japanese folklore, most famously associated with the tale of Urashima Taro. In the original myth, Otohime is the daughter of the Dragon King who rules the undersea palace. She transforms between a sea turtle and a beautiful woman, and invites the fisherman Urashima Taro to her palace beneath the waves, where time flows differently than on land. This original interpretation by Genesis, produced in collaboration with Reverse Studio as part of the Fantasy Fairytale Scroll series, reimagines Otohime with elaborate fantasy elements. The figure stands at 260mm and combines multiple materials including resin for finer details, resulting in a richly textured and visually striking collectible that brings the mythological princess to life in a fresh and imaginative way.
