MegaHouse presents Hoshino Ruby from Oshi no Ko as part of their popular Look Up figure series. Sculpted by Pinpoint and Kamiya Rina, this figure stands approximately 110mm tall and features the signature upward-gazing pose that defines the Look Up line. Ruby Hoshino is a central character in Oshi no Ko, a series that explores the dark underbelly of the Japanese entertainment industry. Ruby is the reincarnated daughter of the legendary idol Ai Hoshino, who was murdered when Ruby and her twin brother Aqua were young. In her previous life, Ruby was a patient named Sarina Tendoji who was cared for by Gorou Amamiya — the doctor who would later be reincarnated as her brother Aqua. Driven by her mother's legacy, Ruby pursues her dream of becoming an idol herself, forming the group B-Komachi's revival. Her cheerful and optimistic exterior masks the complex trauma and extraordinary circumstances surrounding her existence. The Look Up series is designed to be displayed on desks or shelves at eye level, with figures looking up at the viewer. Ruby is also available as part of a set with Ai Hoshino, released in January 2024 as an exclusive offering.
