Medicom Toy brings Winslow Leach, the titular Phantom, to their Vinyl Collectible Dolls series as entry no.278. Based on the 1974 cult classic film Phantom of the Paradise directed by Brian De Palma, this figure captures the character's distinctive masked appearance. Phantom of the Paradise blends elements of The Phantom of the Opera with rock music culture. Winslow Leach is a talented composer whose work is stolen by the corrupt music producer Swan. After being betrayed and disfigured, Leach dons a mask and becomes the Phantom, haunting the Paradise theater while seeking both revenge and the chance to reclaim his music. The film has developed a devoted cult following over the decades. This VCD figure stands approximately 240mm tall and is constructed from ABS and PVC. It was released in October 2018 as a pre-painted, completed figure.
