Ryuuguu Rena from Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Gou joins the Nendoroid lineup as #1483, produced by Good Smile Company. This chibi figure captures the dual nature of one of the most memorable characters from the When They Cry franchise. Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, or When They Cry, is a horror mystery series set in the rural village of Hinamizawa. Ryuuguu Rena is a classmate of main character Keiichi Maebara, known for her cheerful demeanor and her catchphrase about wanting to take cute things home. However, beneath her friendly exterior lies a deeply troubled past and a capacity for violence that surfaces as the series' dark mysteries unfold. In Higurashi Gou, the story revisits and expands upon the original arcs with new twists, and Rena's character remains central to the unfolding horror. The figure stands approximately 100mm tall and is made from ABS and PVC. Sculpted by Shichibee with cooperation from Nendoron, it includes four face plates: a calm standard expression, an 'I want to take it home' expression, a 'Liar!' expression, and a half-crazed expression. Accessories include a school bag, hatchet, and blood stickers. It was released in May 2021.
