Good Smile Company's Pop Up Parade line presents Kikyou from Sengoku Otogizoushi: InuYasha. Kikyou is a powerful shrine maiden who originally guarded the Sacred Jewel before her death and subsequent resurrection. Her complex relationship with Inuyasha—rooted in betrayal, love, and duty—drives much of the series' emotional core. As a character caught between life and death, Kikyou seeks peace while confronting the demon Naraku, whose manipulation caused the tragedy that defined her existence. Sculpted by Design Coco with Tanimoto Hiroto, the figure stands approximately 170mm tall and is made from ABS and PVC. Released in October 2021, it is part of the Pop Up Parade line, which emphasizes quality sculpting at a standardized accessible price point.
