Kotobukiya adds Asakura Yoh and his guardian spirit Amidamaru from Shaman King to their ARTFX J line in this 1/8 scale figure. Sculpted by Ninomiya Akiko and Tsuchiya Tomomi, the figure stands approximately 183mm tall and is made from ABS and PVC. This figure was created as part of Shaman King's 20th anniversary celebration, based on special concept art drawn by series creator Hiroyuki Takei, who personally supervised the figure's development from clothing wrinkles to pocket details. Shaman King follows Yoh Asakura, a laid-back shaman who can communicate with spirits and who enters the Shaman Fight, a tournament to determine the Shaman King who can reshape the world. Amidamaru, a samurai spirit from the Muromachi period, becomes Yoh's primary guardian ghost after Yoh helps resolve his unfinished business. The figure includes Amidamaru in Spirit Ball form, rendered in clear plastic that catches light beautifully. The base connects with the separately sold ARTFX J Hao figure to recreate scenes from the series.
