Wave brings Ayanami Rei from Neon Genesis Evangelion to their Beach Queens line in this 1/10 scale Comic Ver. figure. Rei is the enigmatic First Child and pilot of Evangelion Unit-00, known for her quiet, emotionally reserved demeanor and striking blue hair. Throughout the series, her complex relationship with Gendo Ikari and her mysterious origins as a clone tied to Yui Ikari and Lilith form one of the narrative's central mysteries. The Comic Ver. depicts Rei in a style inspired by the Evangelion manga adaptation. This figure stands approximately 160mm tall and is made from ABS and PVC. The prototype was sculpted by Yozo Ogawa. It was released in April 2016 as part of Wave's Beach Queens series, which features a ball joint at the neck (Neck joint H) allowing for adjustable head positioning and richer facial expressions.
