Good Smile Company presents Devadadan from SSSS.Gridman as part of its SSSS.Soft Vinyl Kaiju line. Standing approximately 145mm tall, this soft vinyl figure captures one of the kaiju from the anime series in a collectible format. SSSS.Gridman is a 2018 anime series that reimagines the 1990s tokusatsu hero Gridman, following high school student Yuta Hibiki as he awakens with amnesia and encounters the Hyper Agent Gridman inside an old computer. Together with the members of the Neon Genesis Junior High Students, they battle kaiju that threaten the city of Tsutsujidai. The kaiju in SSSS.Gridman are manifestations of antagonist Akane Shinjo's frustrations, created by her companion Alexis Kerib to help her destroy and reset the world she controls. The SSSS.Soft Vinyl Kaiju line by Good Smile Company brings these monster designs into soft vinyl form, echoing the tradition of classic tokusatsu kaiju toys. Devadadan joins other kaiju from the series in this collectible lineup.
