Mio, formerly known as the Black Spider of Calamity, is a unique and feared entity in the Goddess' World. After being defeated by Makoto Misumi, she pledged herself to his servitude. Her loyalty to Makoto is single-minded and absolute, and she has no qualms about destroying anyone who threatens him. Despite her fearsome past, Mio displays a surprisingly innocent side, often becoming bashful over simple romantic misunderstandings. Makoto named her Mio, combining the characters for zero and water, symbolizing her fresh start and his strongest element.
