Good Smile Company brings U-1196 from Hataraku Saibou Black (Cells at Work! Code Black) to life as Nendoroid #1579. This chibi-style figure captures the fierce neutrophil white blood cell in her signature combat-ready pose, ready to defend the body against invading pathogens. Cells at Work! Code Black takes a darker, more intense look at the inner workings of a human body in poor health, where cells face overwhelming odds against pathogens, lifestyle diseases, and systemic breakdown. U-1196 is a neutrophil who patrols the bloodstream, engaging in brutal combat against bacteria and viruses. Unlike the lighthearted original series, Code Black portrays a body suffering from stress, poor diet, and exhaustion, making every battle a desperate fight for survival. The figure stands approximately 100mm tall and is made from ABS and PVC. It was sculpted by Nendoron in cooperation with Toytec DTC and released in October 2021. The Nendoroid includes interchangeable face plates and accessory parts to recreate U-1196's determined expressions and combat stances.
