Bandai's Ultra Monster Series brings King of Mons to life as part of its 2016 lineup. This figure captures the kaiju from the film "Ultraman Tiga, Ultraman Dyna, & Ultraman Gaia: The Decisive Battle in Hyperspace," presenting the formidable antagonist in collectible form. King of Mons was born from the imagination of Hiroshi Kashimada, an Ultra Kaiju fanatic who used the mysterious Red Sphere to wish for the strongest monster capable of defeating Ultraman Gaia. Hiroshi sculpted a clay model of his ideal kaiju, and the Red Sphere brought it to life. Despite its subtitle as the "Strongest Combined Monster," King of Mons was not actually born from a fusion — its clay model merely borrowed parts from two other creatures, Basiliss and Sculla, who would later be spawned as separate kaiju. King of Mons went on a devastating rampage that destroyed everything in its path, even destroying the XIG Adventure piloted by Gamu. It was ultimately defeated when Tsutomu used the Red Sphere to summon Ultraman Tiga and Ultraman Dyna to assist Gaia, and King of Mons fell to Gaia's Photon Stream. This figure is part of Bandai's Ultra Monster Series, released in 2016 as item number 227 in the lineup.
