Bandai releases Zugugan from Ultraman Blazar as part of the Ultra Monster Series (2016), catalog number 208, in an Adult Version. This figure depicts the mature form of the subterranean insectile kaiju that appeared in the series. Zugugan are a species of insect kaiju that first appeared in the twentieth episode of Ultraman Blazar. The Zugugan colony lived deep underground but approached the surface in search of richer soil, destroying the fertile fields of Nakahoshi in the process. The gigantic queen Zugugan emerged from beneath the ground and engaged Ultraman Blazar in combat, using its mucus to immobilize both the mecha Earth Garon and Blazar himself. The kaiju's cries acted as warning signals to the rest of the colony, and it was ultimately defeated when Blazar transformed into his Firdran Armor. Young Zugugan were later seen helping prevent Varallon's organic bombs from exploding by eating them. This figure is part of the long-running Ultra Monster Series and represents the adult form of the creature, designed by Masayuki Gotoh.
